Our story
Proactive Recovery was founded by husband and wife team Matt and Kath.
As someone who’s enjoyed playing soccer throughout the years Matt’s all too familiar with the impact of physical activity on the body. Whether it’s dealing with muscle soreness or a sprain, recovery has always played an important role in getting him back on the field. Unfortunately, Matt never really discovered the power of recovery tools until recently. He would push through a lot of the aches and pains without investing the time or money to look after his body, resulting in some long-term damage to his body. With a background in education, Matt’s goal now is to educate health enthusiasts about the best tips and tools to help with their recovery.
Kath has a background in communications and has spent most of her career striving to make the complex simple. She believes that effective communication plays a vital role in getting the right information to the right people at the right time. What value is a great solution to a problem if nobody knows about it? Working together with Matt, she hopes to bring valuable insights about recovery to those who need it most, helping them realise their full potential.
